Donations are used only for covering the costs of running and maintaining our own server, for the benefit of all players. There is no personal monetary gain involved.

There are no strings attached regardless of your choice to donate or not to donate. StickMUD is always free for all players. You must understand that you are giving money to StickMUD out of your free will and that you will not receive special treatment apart from some modest incentives for donators (e.g. access to donator areas).

In addition, we are not reponsible for misplaced funds, errors you have made in your transaction, or fees that might be placed upon you due to the transaction. Your donation can not be cancelled or refunded (some special conditions might apply but refunds are totally in the discretion of the administators of the game.).

In the case that StickMUD should be closed for good, and there are remaining donated funds, the funds shall be given to charity of choice.
